The University of North Carolina is a multi-campus public university system composed of all 17 of North Carolina’s public universities, including five Historically Black Colleges and University’s (HBCU) and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA).

The minimum admissions requirements to attend a UNC system school are the following:

-GPA: 2.5

-SAT (Critical Reading + Math Sections): 800 OR, ACT Composite Score: 17.

-Three course units in science.

-Six course units in language, including:

four units in English emphasizing grammar, composition, and literature, and
two units of a language other than English.

-Four course units of mathematics
